how do i have a glow up before school?

Confidence & motivation

Thank you for this question 🫶 Firstly, luna just wants to say that there's a lot going around about a pre-school glow up and this can put a lot of pressure on us to push ourselves too much and change what really is already great and unique about ourselves.

With this in mind, please try to remind yourself of how amazing you are – you do not need to start school as a new person – being kind, confident and comfortable in who you are as a person is what's most important!

With all that being said, there are a number of steps you could try to make some changes to how you feel about yourself, and the added confidence will shine through:

  • Maintain healthy eating habits: avoiding overly-processed foods, staying hydrated, and making sure to have your 5-a-day can help with your mental wellbeing
  • Keeping fit: even going out for just a 10-minute walk each day can keep you feeling refreshed and in a positive state of mind – young people should aim for about 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise per day, so you can work your way up to that
  • Dress to impress: putting additional effort into your daily looks can instantly boost your confidence
  • Daily affirmations, mirror work or gratitude journalling: adding this to your daily routine can help improve your general outlook on yourself and the world around you

luna has some content in the app around these topics which you may find helpful!
