Hi hiiii, thanks for asking luna 💛 It sounds like you're feeling a bit down now that the events you were excited about are over. It's totally normal to feel this way after something you've been looking forward to has passed.
Here are a few ideas to help you make the most of the rest of your summer without spending much money:
- Explore free local activities: check out local parks, libraries, or community centres. They often have free events or activities that you can join 🌳
- Get creative at home: try out new hobbies like drawing, writing, or even learning a new skill online. There are tons of free resources available 🎨
- Reconnect with friends: reach out to friends you haven't seen in a while. You can suggest low-cost hangouts like a picnic in the park or a movie night at home 📽️
As for your parents, they might not be disappointed in you at all. Sometimes, parents just want to see their children happy. You could try talking to them about how you're feeling. They might have some great ideas or even be able to help you find activities to do.
Remember, it's okay to have some downtime and relax at home too. Everyone needs a break sometimes. And if you ever feel overwhelmed, consider talking to a trusted adult or a counsellor about your feelings.
