It's totally normal to feel nervous about starting high school, but don't worry there will be lots of people in the same boat as you so you aren't alone in this!

Here are some tips to help you out:

  • 📚 Familiarise yourself with the layout of the school before you start if you can, perhaps on a map, so you know where your classes are
  • 🕰️ See what classes you have the night before so you're prepared for the next day.
  • 👥 Reach out to your friends and make plans to stay in touch, even if you're going to different schools
  • 📝 Join clubs or activities that interest you, to meet new people with similar interests
  • 🤗 Remember, everyone else is probably feeling nervous too, so don't be afraid to reach out and make new friends
