Yes, luna is now available in the US.
You can download luna on iOS or Android in the United States.
It’s available for the full age range luna is designed for, including younger teens and tweens.
There’s a free version, with optional premium features.
If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian will need to start your luna account for you.
What is the luna app?
luna is an app designed to help teens and tweens understand their bodies, periods and growing up.
Inside the app, you can:
- track periods, moods and symptoms
- learn about puberty, periods and changing emotions
- explore topics like confidence, mental health, relationships and self-care
- ask anonymous questions and read answers reviewed by experts
It’s been designed specifically for younger people, rather than adapting an adult period tracker.
That means you won’t find features like fertility predictions or social media messaging.

How do I get luna in the USA?
You can download luna on iOS or Android.
If you’re under 18, your parent or guardian starts the account and sends you an invite to join.
If you're a parent or guardian
Getting set up takes a few steps:
- Download the luna parent app and create an account
- Add your child’s details
- Complete the consent process
- Send the invite link to their device
- They open the link and can start using luna

If you're a teen
If you found luna yourself and got stuck when you tried to sign up, don’t worry, you just need your parent or guardian to start the account first.
You can enter their email address in the app so luna can send them the information they need.
Once they’ve finished setting things up, you’ll get a link to open on your own phone.
Your parent manages the account, but what you track, read and ask in luna stays private.
There’s also a teen privacy policy that explains how your information is used in straightforward language.
Is luna free in the USA?
Yes. luna has a free version, as well as an optional premium subscription that gives you access to more of the app.
Premium plans may include a paid trial, so check the plan details when you sign up to see exactly what’s included and when payment would begin.
If a parent cancels premium, the teen can continue using free luna.
Is luna private?
luna was designed with teen privacy and safety in mind.
There’s no peer-to-peer messaging, so strangers can’t contact members through the app.
Questions can be asked anonymously, and luna does not sell personal data to advertisers.
Parents handle account setup and subscriptions, but they don’t get access to what their teen tracks, reads or asks in the app.
