How to be motivated for school and just life in general?
Hi 🫶 It’s really common to feel unmotivated, whether that’s about school, everyday stuff, or just life in general.
You’re not alone, and it doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you.
Here are a few things that might help boost your motivation, even just a little:
🎯 Try setting small goals: these can give you a sense of progress – like handing in homework, trying a new activity, or just getting through the school day
🌟 Focus on what you enjoy: that might be a subject you like, a club you’re part of, a teacher who gets you, or friends you feel safe with
💗 Be kind to yourself: motivation doesn’t always come easily, especially if you’re tired, stressed, or not feeling like yourself
🚀 Try something new if you feel stuck: like joining a club, volunteering, or starting a creative hobby
🗣️ Talk to someone: if these feelings have been going on for a while, or if they’re getting in the way of your daily life, it’s totally okay to reach out to someone you trust like a parent, teacher or school counsellor
You don’t have to feel super excited or motivated all the time – that’s not realistic for anyone.
But you do deserve to feel supported, and there are ways to feel better with time ✨
