Education support in UK schools

Helping students thrive

luna is a medically-verified learning platform that students aged 11-18 and their parents love

It's a digital resource for PSHE education and an on demand supplement to pastoral care

How luna can help

Think of luna as a modern, digital approach to PSHE and RSHE workshops – it’s cost-effective, verified by doctors and safeguarding experts, and has a direct line into the biggest concerns facing students today

🧠

Improves mental health

Our most recent report showed that 84% of students reported their mental health was thriving after using luna over just four weeks, up from 57% before – in the midst of a teen mental health crisis, we’re proud to be enacting tangible change

❤️

A tool students want

Over 100,000 students use luna already as a learning tool, and our engagement rates are exceptional compared to other health platforms – they can read articles, watch videos, quiz to cement their learning and track their cycles

👩‍⚕️

Trusted by parents

luna is trusted by parents of our teen community, which is an important consideration for our partnered schools who we know work closely with and consult parents at all stages of their child’s educational development

⚡️

On the pulse

Social media just cannot be trusted as a learning tool, and yet students are flocking to it with their questions (only 2% said they use school for this) – luna’s content is updated reactively to combat harmful trends

luna's content is created in line with the PSHE curriculum

Why students need luna now?

Learning is happening online

Young people are seeking out information they need digitally, so we need to facilitate this safely

One workshop isn’t enough

Students need more than one PSHE lesson to cement their learnings on a topic – they need to revisit information when it's relevant to them

Combat the mental health crisis

We must take action to prevent a worsening situation by arming students with proven tools they can use to help their mental health

Online misinformation is growing

Social media and developments in AI tools mean teens are accessing unsafe or outdated information in order to learn

Questions asked by real students

This is just a fraction of the 1000s luna’s been asked – proving how much students need this space to subsidise pastoral care

Relationships
Q: All my friends at school use social media and I don’t agree with social media and so do my parents. But sometimes I feel left out and like I don’t belong because all anyone talks about is TikTok or Snapchat. And everyone spends ages making themselves look pretty in the morning, that sometimes i feel as if I should too because LOADS of people always straighten their hair and wear mascara etc. But I don’t rlly know who I want to be and what to be like and how to deal with everyone constantly talking about social media.

Q: i cannot find a job. i’m 18 and looking for a job, i’ve applied to everything in my area and haven’t got anything yet. i was in college for some time and it didn’t work for me twice, unfortunately i have dropped out and am not welcome back. being jobless is taking a toll on my mental health and i can’t afford to support myself even with universal credit. i have no grades from high school either but plenty of experience, but no one will hire me? i need advice on what to do next.

Q: Hi luna ⚡️ I'm being bullied and people are calling me names at school - a video of me was shared in a group chat of me wearing a tail in the park, and I knew nothing about it until today. I'm also scared my friends are talking about me behind my back, as one of them has openly called me ugly and two have called me annoying.
